Not very long ago, Story of Spaces was born over a small coffee conversation with a simple goal of creating spaces that were personal and more engaging.
We are a multi-disciplinary space design firm dedicated to creating spaces that are both visually-engaging and thought-provoking. We approach all our projects, whether collaborative or independent, with strong attention to detail and curiosity.

Akshita Hans, founder of Story of Spaces, is a production designer, art director and interior stylist based in India.

Born in Delhi, she studied architecture from University School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi. She started working in films in 2015 and with over 8 years experience as a Production Designer/ Art Director having worked with eminent directors such as Shimit Amin, Ashim Ahluwalia, Dibakar Banerjee, Shakun Batra & Bharat Sikka, she focused on bringing to life their artistic visions. She has worked various brands including BBC, NDTV,  Toyota, Vivo, Xiaomi, HDFC, Uber, Google, Microsoft, Zomato, Fab India to name a few.
